Legacy Brisbane cares for the families of Australian Defence Force men ad women who have lost their lives or health as a result of their service. Providing essential social, financial and developmental support that these families depend on each day. Their work focuses on ensuring all needs are met as best as possible, providing for young families and children, ageing and vulnerable widows as well as dependants with a disability.

Legacy Brisbane currently cares for more than 6,700 widows and 250 dependants across Brisbane and its surrounds, Sunshine Coast and Rockhampton/Central Queensland.

On the 18th of June, our team is participating in Legacy’s Canungra Combat Challenge. An event which sees competitors raise vital funds to care for the families of veterans who’ve lost their life or health during or after their Defence Force service. Our team of 4 will follow in the footsteps of generations of diggers, pushing themselves mentally and physically through 7km of obstacles, bush trails and soldier exercises. The event is being held at the Kokoda Barracks at Canungra – this event is the only of its kind to take place on an active military base, making it a rare opportunity for competitors to experience the training that our Defence Force members undertake, whilst supporting Legacy.

Sci-Fleet Toyota is proud to announce that in May, $1 from every vehicle serviced at Kedron, Brendale and Taringa will go towards Legacy.
