Throughout the month of March, Sci-Fleet supported ReachOut and Laps for Life.
ReachOut is the most accessed online health service for young people and their parents in Australia. ReachOut is there 24/7 - for whatever life throws at them. With tools, tips and advice for everything from dealing with exam stress to understanding how to get help for an issue that's worrying them, ReachOut provides practical tools designed just for their needs. ReachOut helps young people get well, be well and stay well, provides connection and shared stories through peer support, and builds confidence to seek professional help, if needed.
Laps for Life supported ReachOut in March by encouraging individuals or teams to get in the water and make a splash to help young people experiencing mental health issues. Laps for Life aims to spread the word and raise funds to prevent youth suicide.
Sci-Fleet Toyota pledged to donate $1 from each vehicle serviced at Kedron, Brendale and Taringa. We are delighted to announce that we raised $3,306 towards Laps for Life. We proudly exceeded our goal of $3,000.
