Now, more than ever, Legacy families need your help as we prepare to commemorate ANZAC Day.
Over the past several weeks, Legacy has been working hard to ensure families continue to have access to medicine, food, emergency funding and emotional support during social isolation due to COVID-19.
With ANZAC Day gatherings cancelled, Legacy Brisbane will struggle to continue providing social services.
Legacy is almost entirely funded through philanthropy and we need your urgent support to look after 52,000 of Australia’s most vulnerable people – elderly widows, single parents, grieving children and people with disability.

Meet Emily, James and their Legatee, Brian
Emily and James tragically lost their father, a serving member of the Australian Defence Force (ADF), when they were just six and eight years old.
Not long after, Legatee (a Legacy volunteer) Brian came into their lives to provide support where he could.
Brian, a Legacy child himself, served alongside their father and understood importance of having a role model growing up.
For Emily and James, Brian’s support and Legacy programs, like the Legacy Youth Camp, provided support when they needed it most.
“If we ever needed anything, all we had to do was walk down the street to his house. We are living proof that Legacy helps Defence Force families like ours to thrive despite our loss.”
